They probably have issues running on the Vita (Since the Vita is just emulating PSP)

Certain issues may pop up, or perhaps there's security exploits that they need to address before releasing them.

The publishers of the games have to make seperate deals for their PS1 games to be available on the Vita. Deals have been made for them to be on PS3 and PSP, but not all of them have committed to getting them on the Vita.

I'm there with you brother, I have quite a few games that I can't play on the Vita as well, but it comes down to the publishers of the games to get the ball rolling. If Sony were just to release these games, they could face legal action. I've been bugging Konami for about a year now to make MGS: Portable Ops available for the Vita and they don't respond to my emails. So at this point there's not much i can do.

I have herd some say they got a responce from the publishers saying talk to sony and sony saying talk to the publisher so who knowes who is telling the truth anymore. Seems like this would be a easy problem to fix compaired to some. A lot of people complaining about it.

He's not talking about those games.

He's talking about the games he listed in his first post (which are currently not available on the Vita)

why wouldnt they just do a deal than squar enix has ported origins, 3 , 4 ,6 ,7 ,8 , 9 on the vita why would they not port 5? And isnt Spyro and crash 1 2 3 first party games?  I have also heard that final fantasy 5 spyro and crash games all work on the european accounts but not the north american ones. This is incredibly frustrating.

Well, Crash Bandicoot WAS first party, but they are now owned by Activision. Same with Spyro.
