Many users buy US playstation network cards, and try to add fund to their wallet,
and just see silly "couldn't add to the wallet, error code : np-8132-4" message.
When will you fix this, SCEA? after all users upset and leave PSN?
"All" users aren't seeing this error, and so are not upset by it; but did you try redeeming your PSN card on the Sony Entertainment Network web site? You don't have to redeem the card on your PS Vita. A web browser will work too.
If it doesn't work on the SEN web site, then the problem has nothing to do with the Vita. Either there is a problem with your PSN account, or with the PSN card. If the problem has been going on for some time, then we can rule out a problem with Sony's servers.
The site was also not the solution. I tried it several times.
I think my PSN card doesn't have problem. because, before error code, this message is appeared.
"This PlaystationNetwork card has a value of &50.00. Do you want to add these funds to the wallet?"
and after I touched [Add Funds], just got the error code.
I searched Google and this forum. The same problem was happened to other people and
no solution was given from Sony. Some people were upset, but still no solutions.
Please check the server and fix this error code.
I don't have any access to the PSN servers. I'm not even employed by Sony. Sony doesn't provide that type of support by forum. You have to report this type of problem either by phone (800-345-SONY), or e-mail (http://playstation.custhelp.com/app/ask).
I just purchased a Vita this week and was seeing this issue. For me, it turned out that even thought I updated my credit card information on the vita, that information was not saved correctly to my psn account.
I went in through the web browser and updated the CC, then it worked for me.
I don't know if this will help anyone, but something to check.
