Had an interesting online chat today with customer service.
it all started when i downloaded a game that was supposedly compatible with the PS Vita according to what it showed on the PS3 playstation store. When i tried playing it it got to the start screen, froze and reset the vita. i tried deleting it and redownloading it, then letting it reinstall and still the same thing happens. tried 4 different times and nothing. So today i chated with playstation support onlune and explained to them that the game i paid $20 for that is supposed to work on the vita does not, they told me that "well we have todo trouble shoot the problem". K im a computer hardware guy and troubleshooting to me is easy and its all basically the same for any type of hardware which has nothing todo with a game not working. anyway, after telling him i slready tried everything he was going to tell me todo he said "well, i can submit a refund request and that usually takes 5-7 days but there is no guarentee they will refund the money", well to me thats a bunch of **bleep**, how can a company as well known as sony refuse a refund, according to him "all sales are final" ok, i get that but how the hell can you justify advertising a game on Playsation store that is supposed to woek on a system and doesnt. the guy on the online chat basically said in a round about way, "oh well, tough **bleep**, you bought it and we dont care if it doesnt work, we just screwed you out of $20 to bad for you and theres nothing we are going todo to satisfy you" to me thats a bunch of crap when people buy something whether it be physically or digitally we expect it to work as promised and not get screwed over, i cant believe that a customer service agent whos primary job is to make the consumer happy just told me to **bleep** off and deal with it, its not their problem.. I have been a loyal customer to sony and the playstation store, but now idn anymore. I thought sony gave more of a **bleep** to the people who buy their products but aparently all they want is our money and dont give a **bleep** about anyone who spends it. If they dont refund me i am gonna be **bleep** and will take it to the next level.. to me its called false advertising of a product and its against the law in everyway to advertise something thats supposed to work, but doesnt.
If a game is available on both systems, you could have very easily downloaded the wrong version, which would have been an error on your part and not any fault of Sony's which would, once again, disqualify you from a refund.
Now, the next question is what game did you purchase? I'll double check it myself to see if the game is available on one system over the other or both.
oh boy here we go again
first of all if you really want help you need to say which game is giving you problems
and second if you want to be taken seriously then please watch your language this is not a place to vent if you need it so much you should rant with your friends they will probably take your side
Is the game so vile, so heinous, so ghastly, that it shall not be named? Maybe we can help.
