There is about a 1" strip of area on the left edge of the screen that has zero touch functionality. I can't click the back button in the bottom left corner, in any screen. When the keyboard pops up, I can't press "Q" or anything below it. I can't scroll up/down in the main menu when doing it from that edge.

I don't recall this ever happening until I updated to the 2.0 software (which I just did today), but it's possible that I just never noticed it until now. The games I currently play (Dynasty Warriors and Disgaea 3) hardly use touch as it is, let alone touch on the left edge. This is a launch Vita btw.

Is my Vita a lemon?

Edit: Scratch that, it's about 2-3 inches... I can't hit "W" or part of "S" on the keyboard either...

Hold the power button for about 30 seconds then press X on restart Psvita that may help.

It's obviously had a stroke. You're going to have to play it from now on by corresponding it's blinks to buttons.

Turn off the Vita.

Had the same problem and it fixed right after I turned it off
