My Vita keeps saying half of my entire music list is corrupted files. These files have been played on everything (PSP, PS3, two different PC's, etc). I've checked my files and everything. They are perfectly fine. I've even attempted replacing the supposed "corrupted file", but it still won't play it, just skips the file. I would even fast-forward past the part it skips and the rest of the song would be perfectly fine. What is going on??? Is anyone else getting this problem? If anyone has an answer, that would be awesome. This is kind of irritating.

What format are the music files in? The Vita only supports three audio file formats; MP3, MP4/ACC with no DRM, and WAVE files. PCs support far more music formats than that; and the PS3 and PSP support a few more formats than the Vita as well.

I just had this problem and fixed it.
I went to this website.

I followed Step 1 and Step 2 and it fixed my corrupt music file problem(s).
When you rebuild your database, your application icons reset to default.
So this means you have to re-organize them. (I organize mine by color of the icons)
Also, the PSVita firmware is now 1.8; when you rebuild your database, your already saved playlist on the PSVita may be deleted and you have to re-transfer your playlist back into the PSVita.
If you are wondering, all your save game files will be fine.
