I purchased a PS Vita launch day. Recently the rear touch screen has not been responding so I went and exchanged it for a new Vita. What I didn't know was that I had to deactivate my old system before I could activate my new. I have an old PSP and a PSP Go that I use strictly for PSOne games. I didn't deactivate my original Vita before returning it. I went back to the store hoping I could get my old system and deactivate it there but the employee told me it had already been completely wiped. I looked on my PS3 under active systems and not only was my old Vita there but there was another Vita listed under the ID of User 708. This was not my system so am I the victim of a hack? Am I just SOL? Please help, I want my new Vita to play the games I've purchased under my account. Any assisstance is greatly appreciated.

Yikes! Sounds like you may need the assistance of Sony on this one. I have two user accounts setup on PSN, when I bought my Vita I mistakenly input the account that I didnot intend to keep on it. It took me a few minutes to figure out that you actually have to wipe the memory card (i.e 4, 8, 16, 32GB card) in order to input the correct PSN ID in it. Sure hope you took your memory card out of it before you took it back to the store. But I would try this link: http://us.playstation.com/support/ask/ or call: 1.800.345.SONY (7669). Lots-o-luck man!

If you think that someone may have access to your PSN account, change your password. If you really want to be safe, change your sign-in e-mail address, and your password.
You can clear all of the console activations from your PSN account using Account Management on the Sony Entertainment Network web site. You don't need to have access to any of the consoles, but you can only do it once every six months. You went though two activations in just over one month, so you will have to be more careful in the future.
Go to this page...
Sign in with the PSN account that you want to remove activations from. Click the down arrow in the Game box, and then click the Deactivate All button.
