How to fix a "frozen" PS Vita.

3 replies 7273 views Edited Jan 26, 2013

You may class a frozen PS Vita as:

Blue light on, not turning on

Frozen, PS Button won't do anything

Blue light flashing, not turning on

Please note: This does not fix a bricked console.

To fix this issue, hold down the power button until the console shuts off(if it is a frozen screen), or when the Playstation logo appears. After that, you will be in the debug menu. Click on "Restart PS Vita" to reboot your console.

Just had a Vita with frozen sleep mode, blue light kept flickering on but no screen , restarting by holding the power button does fix it , just hold the power button down until menu comes on.  Then select RESTART THE VITA SYSTEM .
