Getting My Vita Tomorrow!! :D

But, I have a few questions, if I for example wanted to download Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Impact from the PlayStation Store, is that possible? Or the God of War Games?

The God of War PSP games are available. No idea about Naruto though.

God bless you, child. Enjoy your Vita.

Re: Getting My Vita Tomorrow!! :D

You'll find out when you get it.  If the game is in the PSP section of the Vita Playstation Store, then you can play it on the Vita. If it isn't, then you can't.  Most of the PSP games that will be certified for the Vita have been by now, but more recent titles may be added in the future. The Vita isn't a direct replacement for the PSP, anymore than the PS3 is a direct replacement for the PS2.  The PSP and the PS2 are both still being manufactured and sold.  Nothing is replacing them. The Vita has limited PSP compatibility for the benefit of early adopters, but Sony is focused on getting more Vita games published.  Not making the Vita into a new PSP Go.  There will always be a lot of PSP games in the Playstation Store that you can't download to the Vita.

Re: Getting My Vita Tomorrow!! :D

I Found this, can anyone confirm that this works??

I believe if you download the game onto the PS3, you can transfer the game to the PlayStation Vita.
Steps:

1. Download the game on the PS3.
2. Connect the Vita to the PS3 via the data cable.
3. Click "Connect to PS3 System"
4. Under the "Copy Content" section click "PS3 System -----> PS Vita System"
5. Click "Applications"
6. Click "Applications (PSP/Other)" (It's the one in the middle)
7. Click "Applications Downloaded on the PS3 System"
8. The Vita will recognize the PSP game title.
9. Check the box next to the PSP Game.
10. Click "Copy" in the bottom right of the screen.
The game will then download from the PS3 and then you are able to play!! :smileyvery-happy: Hope I helped!!

Re: Getting My Vita Tomorrow!! :D

That worked briefly with PSP games (including Minis) back when the Vita was first released, but the first patch to the Vita System put a stop to that method.  A similar method works with PS1 Classics, but that may stop working after the next update also.

Re: Getting My Vita Tomorrow!! :D

Only PSP games that have been specifically tested and verified compatible with the Vita, can be downloaded to the Vita from the Playstation Store.  That is how it is supposed to work.  Occasionally loopholes around this have been present in the PS3 System software, but they usually get closed in the next update.  Don't count on being able to install any PSP game to your Vita, if the game is not in the Vita Playstation Store.  That isn't supposed to work.
