My vita was still network dead when I returned home from work this evening but after rebooting my router and running an Internet Connection Test I am back on and downloading Gravity Rush now. Hopefully this helps someone else....

I hope this is seriously being looked into with a patch update follow up as its is clear that firmware messed with the network functionalities of the Vita. For those of you having to go buy new routers i hope you dont take this lightly unless you wanted a new one in the first place.
For some reason i feel like saying something happened to the database cause after this firmware patch on reboot i saw a massage labeled updating database i never saw that before.
Those of you who have tried with no plesing result would you give the rebuild/restore database option a try in the system safe boot option think number 2 . I almost tried that as my last result if the delete network and reboot modem did not work.
1. shutdown Vita
2. Power Vita back on while holding (R button + PS button) shoulget you to that menu
it says rebuilding database may take few hrs Just a suggestion no guarantee it'll work as again that was my last go to option.
