i think that if you aren´t from US you can´t register your ps3... i´m from spain and i can´t...

my barcode is diffrent it have 2 numbers like 03-12345676543-1234567-CECHK04 this is serial on the back of console and cant register it either

i think that only the people from US can register their ps3

every region has their own playstation website. for example, eu have the eu.playstation.com website and japan has theres and the middle east theres, and australia and the uk have their own, etc. and you register your consoles and games according to what region/playstation website you belong to. hope that helps...

you can't register a non-us console or non-us games on the us.playstation.com website. you should go to your regions playstation website and try there...

Ok.  I still need help!

I live in the US and purchased my 80gb PS3 from Dell this month (Dec. 2008), I got the serial number from the back of my PS3 (here's what I got CK#########-CECHK##)

i still can't register, I get this message: "This appears to be an invalid Barcode number."

Any help??

I've tried it w/o the last part and w/o the dash, no difference.

You're from Europe right? Because the CECHK04 is European version.
