The DS4 out put is only STEREO.

So you will only get stereo only, if you feed the Game audio out of the DS4... lol

There is Zero chance of them Encoding DD5.1 Or DTS5.1 via a BT signal.... lol...

Turn the audio option to "CHAT ONLY"...

Also make sure your using The turtle beach spec cable not a wrongly wired botched cable... or your mics not going to work...

No you were not.

You can not get 5.1 via the DS4s stereo, 2 channel connection, you can get virtual 5.1 but its not 5.1...

The 5.1 was allways via the External feed, you can change a setting on the PS4, which has caused the headset to link only via the DS4... when you put in the 3.5mm...

This is normaly the "All audio" setting which is meant to be "chat only" for the headsets...

With "chat only" setting their is no change to the External audio feed as Game audio only goes out to the HDMI or Optical...

When you plug inthe 3.5 mm there is no disconnection of the optical...

if the Optical audio disconnected when the 3.5mm was pluged in there would be alot more posts than this 1 topic.

The PX4 PX5 PX51 P4 users and many more would be here posting... not just 1 lone user...
