Trouble with Bluetooth Keyboard when controller is on

3 replies 223 views Edited Sep 14, 2013

I recently bought a SHARKK® Backlit Keyboard Wireless Bluetooth 3.0 Ultra-Slim Keyboard to use playing games with friends.

When the controller is on and I try to type, the keyboard goes crazy and types strings of letters. When I turn the controller off, the keyboard works perfectly. The problem is that I would like to use both at the same time.

Has anyone else had an issue like this with this or any other bluetooth keyboard? How were you able to fix it?

Thanks!

Hi aregensb,

It's not uncommon for wireless blutooth devices to conflict with each other. If you plug in your controller directly to the ps3, do you get the same signal interference?

Thanks,

Sorry I put that in the wrong category! Thank you for moving it.

When I plug the controller in directly, the problem with the keyboard does stop. I was just hoping to use both wirelessly.

Because of the Bluetooth conflict between the two devices I'd suggest leaving one of the devices wired for the time being.

Thanks,
