Explanation of the connection issue you're experiencing: says "Your game did not start as expected. Try launching it again." On all my PS NOW games. It has been working fine earlier today and over the past couple days. My download speed is consistently over 35mbps per the PS4 connection test.

When I go to start a game it says the game did not start as expected. Every game I get error "game did not start as expected. Try launching it again"

  • Internet Service Type: Cable
  • Connection Type: Wired
  • Internet Service Provider: Verizon FIOS
  • Access Point/Router Brand and Model: Actiontec M1424 verizon FIOS router

  • Every time I go to start a PSnow game I get the error "game did not start as expected. Try launching it again" I have talked to representaatives on the chat service you guys provide and they had me restore default settings, Rebuild database, change my MTU to 1454 and wanted me to try "deleting the PSNOW app" by hitting options with it selected (nothing happens) I have tried 5 or six different games and always get the same error. I have tried starting games probably 20 to 25 times.

  • Connection Type (Select from the following): Wired
  • Internet Service Provider: NorthPenn 
  • Access Point/Router Brand and Model: BiPac 3200g by BIllion
  • Explanation of the connection issue you're experiencing: Connection will disconnect after a few minutes of game play saying connection with the server was lost but in the time it functions game play is smooth with no loss in quality or response time. I have adjusted MTU values all ports open on a private network with no other devices using connection. Connection tests say I have adequate speed.

Have you tried connecting your PS3 directly to the modem without the use of router?

  • Access Point/Router Brand and Model:   Linksys E2500

    I started the free trail tried a game it worked fine, Then I went back to the list selected another game and as soon as it says loading game it signs me out of PSN, then says "game did not start as expected. Try launching it again"  then it auto signs me back into PSn
