Re: PS Now on PC - Bug/Issue Reporting

Sep 3, 2016

@capitolc Your problem can be caused by the fact you're on a wireless connection. WiFi is very variable and can be affected by a number of factors, including distance from the router, obstructions between you and your router such as walls, interference from other wireless devices, outdated router or modem, etc.  For best result, trying moving closer to your WiFi router (ideally in the same room or with clear sight to it), or try plugging in with a wired LAN connection.

@ENunn The bandwidth you indicate should be more than enough for streaming, and you're on a wired connection, which is great. Screen tearing usually occurs due to poor bandwidth, so it's possible that you have other things on your network that are competing for bandwidth. For best results, make sure nobody is using your Internet connection for streaming movies or music, downloading software or games, using online backup services such as Dropbox, or using audio or video communication services like Skype or FaceTime. Keep in mind that this includes other computers, mobile devices, smart TVs, or other connected devices, including software that runs in the background without your knowledge.

  1. PSN Online ID (used with PS Now): thadialator
  2. Description of issue: Application does not show full list of games.  When looking at the alphabetical list, I cannot see any games listed after the "O" category.  I cannot seem to pin it to one issue, as on my other PC it only showed A-N.
  3. Internet speed at streaming location: 8mbps down
  4. Internet Service Provider (eg. Verizon, Time Warner Cable, etc.): Chariton Valley
  5. Wired or wireless connection:Wireless
  6. PC operating system (eg. Windows 7, 8.1, 10):Windows 10
  7. Processor type (eg. AMD, Intel): Intel Core i5-2320
  8. If game-related, which game: Not Game Specific
  9. Are you in your free trial, an active subscriber, or not subscribed at all:Free Trial
  10. If you are seeing an error, what text is being displayed:No Error is being displayed
  11. Location (Country / or if US, ZIP Code):65270

Also, I closed and re-opened the app, but now it is only showing A-N.

For a further update, this issue seemed to be resolved after I rebooted the computer.  Upon further investigation it happens every time I open the app.  Once, last night, it only showed me through the letter J, but the next time it showed all the way down to P-Q.

  1. PSN Online ID (used with PS Now): V-Dizzle005
  2. Description of issue: PS NOW PC APP starts up, sits in my notification area, after clicking the notification area icon it opens up, black screen no response from the app unless I want to close it.
  3. Internet speed at streaming location: 50Mbps down/ 18Mbps Up
  4. Internt Service Provider (eg. Verizon, Time Warner Cable, etc.): BT
  5. Wired or wireless connection: Wired
  6. PC operating system (eg. Windows 7, 8.1, 10):  Windows 10
  7. Processor type (eg. AMD, Intel): Intel
  8. If game-related, which game: N/A

  10. If you are seeing an error, what text is being displayed: No error Message

The only solution I have found for this is to Uninstall & Reinstall the APP every time I want to use it. - which is inconvenient to say the least...
