Xbox one controller will let you control the menu and pick which game you want, but then it won't control the game once it starts??? Looks like it runs real smooth, but I hit "Start" and or any button, and nothing happens. It looks like so much fun too!

Thanks.

Same here. As soon as I launched PS Now, my anti-virus went off. Don't know what's going on with the app, but one virus was deleted. Uninstalled and not likely to use the app again in the future.

Re: PS Now on PC - Bug/Issue Reporting

just a bit more insight from early usage.  I am seeing what I can do with this service and cannot do.  If PS Now requirement is 5Mbps, I wonder why 144 isn't enough.  I will try hotspot again during a "non peak time" for my cellcular network

  1. PSN Online ID (used with PS Now):  capitolc
  2. Description of issue:  connection issue when trying to load/play a game  (5pm EST)
  3. Internet speed at streaming location:  144.0 Mbps
  4. Internet Service Provider (eg. Verizon, Time Warner Cable, etc.): Sprint Mobile Hotspot
  5. Wired or wireless connection:  wireless
  6. PC operating system (eg. Windows 7, 8.1, 10):  Win7
  7. Processor type (eg. AMD, Intel):
  8. If game-related, which game:  GoW, Rag Doll Kung Fu, Pac Man Championship DX
  9. Are you in your free trial, an active subscriber, or not subscribed at all:  Subscriber
  10. If you are seeing an error, what text is being displayed:  "network dealy might make ps now unusable in your area" (high traffic volumen on network or router issues)
  11. Location (Country / or if US, ZIP Code):  20723

Works fine, everything's smooth.

Screen tearing is a huge issue though. Is Sony going to fix this?

Re: PS Now on PC - Bug/Issue Reporting

Sep 2, 2016

chief_lieutenant

PS NOW PC APP starts up, sits in my notification area, after clicking the notification area icon it opens up, black screen no response from the app unless I want to close it.

80 to 120 Mbps (depends on time of day)

Cox Comunications High Speed Coaxial Internet

Wired Cat 6 Ethernet Cable

Windows 10 Version 1151 Build 10586.545

Intel i5 4690k 3.5GHz (4.2GHz Boost)

No game can be played. (Though I did succesfully play the first level of Killzone Previously)

7 day free trial Started Sept-1-2016 ends Sept-8-2016 (If I am unable to play durring this time I fully expect a free month)

No error code is given. (black screen with no response)

South Central Kansas, United States (seriously asking for a Zip Code?)

I was able to get back into the app and login to psn after I Uninstalled/Reinstalled the app. (I SHOULD NOT HAVE TO DO THIS EVERYTIME)

I was then able to play Killzone 1 and Kilzone 2.

I have a sneaking suspicion that this problem comes on how the app is launched and closed.

In the fact that the app doesnt fully close at all, it hides in the notification area.

Firstly there is no reason for the app to hide in the notification area. When I close it I don't need the app running up my resources and slowing down my computer.

(IDK if your dev team was instructed to do that, so the app makes the computer run slower on purpose. If you were I wouldn't be surprized.)

Secondly the app needs some TLC. Have the app cache the thumbnails for the games, don't make it redownload them everytime i add a game to "My List"

Thirdly when I add a game to "My List" the app completely frezzes for 2 to 8 seconds and then coimpletely refreshes the "Home Page".

Sometiems the app freezes so long that Windows thinks the app has crashed and asks me to force close it.

And finally I think this is an amazing event for gaming in general. That this is nearly the final step that bridges the divide between PC and Consoles.

In the words of Aaron Greenberg - "We think the future is without console generations."

I hpe that Sony feels the same way.
