Hello, I'm new here and am a little suspicious in regards to a message I received from "Th3MaSsAcre352"
I opened it because it said "The Playstation Network" as the subject.
This is what i read...
"Hello, my name is KEVIN BUTLER and I work for the Playstation Network . I am here to stop this rumor that is going around. The rumor is that you will soon have to pay for play Online. You can help me by forwarding this message to 35 Playstation Network Users. In return you will get a 35.00 dollar credit on your playstation store account ! Just check your Store Wallet after you forward the message ! Thank you ! "
I consider myself to not be that stupid and to think maybe it's some sort of scam or maybe even a virus ???? I have heard about people's account being hacked into .. I don't want mine to be hacked .. I'm almost done with my 3rd prestige in MW2 !!! ROFL ...
Seriously, does anybody know anything about this ?? I doubt it's legit ....

I received the same chain letter but from one of my friends.
I wouldn't send it to anyone else if I were you as it probably is just a spam but I don't think you should report "Th3MaSsAcre352" either because he probably wasn't the one who started it.

Yep, Spam and chain letters are against the ToS.

Just delete the message and forget about it. If enough of us will start doing this then these chain letters/spams will stop.

It's spam and completely made up (Clue is in the name..). Plus you cant send viruses over the PS3 - And you cant be hacked.
You most definitely can be hacked. It may not be a direct hack to your PS3, but your account can be hacked, and everything that's on it. That is why you should definitely create a really secure password.
