I have come to a conclusion the n1 vision router sucks with the ps3, for the past month and half i have been getting signed out of psn and getting dropped from cod 4 multiplayer also getting slow downloads and all this time the ps3 was put in the dmz zone. I had a dell truemobile router for about 5 years and it was fine i upgraded for security reasons and i thought better connectivity. Called belkin twice first time advised me to change channel to channel 11 and made sure of certain other adjustments were right and the person swore this would work i also asked if there were any compliance issues with belkin routers and ps3 the person said he never heard of such a thing. Well it didnt work so i called sony and talking to them they said,  they have problems with belkin routers (he said linksys works the best with the ps3) and he advised me  to open ports along with keeping the dmz zone open so i did, still did not work. Then i called back belkin one and final time and told them everything which led me to this call and they told me to disable the firewall (why should i do that on a 180 dollar router i asked) open ports and that should solve my problem, well it didnt so thank god i bought this router from best buy and it falls on the holiday return policy because this piece of s!@$ wireless router is going back and i am getting a linksys. Never buy a router on looks alone which i basically did, i did a little research but i guess not enough. Does anyone out there have this router or a belkin of any kind and has it hooked up to the ps3 if they doplease let me know how it is just curious?Also which linksys should i get?

I've got a LinkSys WIreless G WRT54G Version 6 router with 4 LAN ports. Nothing to brag about as it sometimes boots me off the PSN when the computer is turned on along with the PS3. I really doubt that LinkSys routers work the best with PS3. Maybe the new ones do...

well if anyone cares i got the dlink dgl 4500 and it cured everything my wireless download speeds to my ps3  are unreal i downloaded the battlfield bad company video in a matter of minutes not like with the belkin which took me a hour and a half so my advice STAY AWAY FROM BELKIN FOR GAMING THEY SUCK!!!!!!

I have a wrt54g V.5 and I never get disconnected but I cant get any better speed than 6,900 down out of the router. For some reason its only stable when I set the router to 11mbps. I had it working on auto for 1 day but that was it after that it went back to the normal crap speeds untill I put it on 11mbps again. But 6,900 is fast enough to host any game and it still gives me great download speeds off of the PSN Store.

P.S. my ps3 wired speeds are 14,000 down and 2,700 up.
