Okay heres my story. i want to play bf2 online on my slim ps2. i have a decent internet connection that goes through my wireless router with speed booster, then it goes to the range expander, which goes to the game adapter(all linksys) then i have a cable from the adapter to the ps2. I click go online and it comes up with
DNAS Authentication Error

Network Error(-603)
Connetion timed out.
please try connectiong again at a later time.

Select Network Configuration-this is right as it works sometimes

thats all it says so if someone could please tell me how to fix this i would love that

i have a computer down stairs and a laptop right by my ps2 and the laptop gets wireless internet and the game adapter is connected online.

you have to turn the firewall off on your pc and  router

first try this



Are you running your ps2 ethernet cord directly into the modem? If so,

1.)then you have to to plug your ethernet cord back into the cpu

2.)and just get on the home page from your cpu

3.) unplug the ethernet cord from the cpu while it's running and plug it back into the ps2

4.) then try to get online.

The problem is since you are running directly into the modem it contains the cpu address which allows you to share it while online with your ps2. But whenever you log off from online on your ps2 and you want to get back online then you will have to repeat the process to get back online with your ps2.




also try this if that dont work

do u have a router.

if u do then unplug it and leave it unplugged 4 around 2 minutes and plug it back in.it should do the trick

i have a router and i don't wanna unplug it because well ive had trouble keeping my laptop online. i just don't like touching it because it seems sensitive to whatever i do mabey ill just brake down and have someone come  out when i get a ps3 to set it all up again.
