I've been getting this message a lot lately ever since I enabled my router's wireless. Its seems to happen a lot when my brother is on his laptop. I get signed out after seeing the message, but get signed right back in 5 seconds later. I know its not a problem with my ethernet cable, cuz it was in fact connected and the last time this happened, the wireless internet signal on my laptop went down as well.
I've tried everything I could think of, rebooting my router and modem, giving everything on my network a static IP, gave my PS3 a static IP, put my PS3 in a DMZ, the list goes on. The only conclusion I can come to now is that the problem is the router itself, so I may get a new one. Before I do that, I wanted to know if anyone had any other ideas?
Btw, I have D-Link WBR-2310 RangeBooster G Router and my PS3 is the only thing directly connected to the router besides my PC.
Cheers

Hmmm, the light for the ethernet cable is flashing when connected to the PS3 and like I mentioned above, the wireless internet signal on my laptop went down as well . Also this problem occures every 2-3 days or so, sometimes I'll go weeks without seeing the problem. I could try using another cable, but it could be a while before I see if it had any effect. Thanks for the tip. I'm running out of ideas, so I might as well try this.

I didn't read your whole post sorry.
I was tired when i replied..
Well i had this problem with my old router.
I had a linksys router, that would just shut down because the ps3 is throwing to much info at it.
You should check into a new n router as well...
Your welcome for the advice, but i know it is a pain to have thing's happen..
I went through some problems with the ps3 as well when i first got it in 07.
