I was just wondering if there is a way to change the screen name of your account after it is set?

There is no way to change your name, so if you want a different name you will need to make a new account.

Your friends list won't be there when you create the new account.

Yeah that's what I figured out.  Someone posted something about being to transfer your data and stats from a usb device.  I don't see how that's possible.

I don't see how that's possible either, considering it gives you no option to save your info to any other device other than your PS3.

You can copy saved data to other users on the same system.

Just go to saved data utility> find the data you want to copy> press triangle> copy.

simple as that.
