ATTENTION: Sony CAN contact you through PSN!

I thought I saw something strange one day when I went to check the mail from my account. This is what I saw:

As you can see, the ID is in Brackets, has the PSN logo before the name, and it doesn't have a profile. This is only for Asia (right now).

Maybe now if the PSN will be undergoing maintenance they can just send all users online a msg saying when it'll start now?

In theory yes.....however the question is what use is it and how is it going to be used. Followed by is it fake

Could be new official PSN accounts so users can tell who's official and who's not. You know how all of those chain letters that say Sony this & sony that?

Well, now that it's known that PSN has official accounts and if news (the spam chain mails) don't come from that official account, it's just not true at all.

Seems legit, but if its true then whats the point of having that status bar which contains the clock and date? for displaying news...

Weird... Looks real but I'm still a little skeptical for some reason. Would be cool if Sony could shut down all those chain messages like you said though. Also, damn clean your TV man.
