I got a similar message when trying to enter my credit card info for the first time today.

I noticed on my online bank statement, that I was charged a dollar each time I had tried to enter my info.

Did the card expire and you were issued a new one? That's happened to me before. Just enter the new expiration date and you're back in business. As far as the $1.00 charges for the other poster they'll be refunded.

It doesn't expire until 2015, I don't get why this is.. I've checked my online bank account and everything I've written in ps store is fine

This has been happening to me as well. Credit card works fine everywhere else just not for the PS store.

I'm having the same issue.  I'm getting "Please enter a valid credit card number" when trying to add in the playstation credit card nonetheless.  Bummer.

Edit: I just fixed it. Turns out the card company has my apartment listed under the first line in my billing address. My physical address is on the second line.  Double check with your bank or credit card companies to be sure you're putting in the info EXACTLY the same.

Update: Issue fixed.  I called my bank, and it turns out they hadn't updated my card with my new address.

Guess you've got to give Sony your exact, correct billing address for them to accept your card.

And what  Country is the account you're using it on the Vita? The same as the PS3 or are you using a different account with a different region?
