just keep trying to login. Eventually it will re route you and hopefully you will be able to connect to a server that is up. I started up my ps3, then i logged in to psn via my ps3, i then checked my router logs to see what ip addresses my ps3 is connecting to. I then pathping and pinged each ip address that my ps3 connected to and 9 of the 11 different ip address "timed out' stating 100 % packet loss. Welcome to psn, i've obtained these results for 2 weeks in a row, Monday will be 3 weeks in a row.
Ok I Tryed Every Think for Error 80710092. I changed Dns Settings, Disabled Media Server, Log onto a different account, and Rebooted router. Does Anyone know what to do?
I Even Called Sony No One Picks Up I Waited 10 mins...
I'm logged on right now. I played Black Ops with no problem now on SOCOM with no problem.
I get that code quite a lot. Just keep trying to sign in, eventually it works. In fact I just got it before I logged on Black Ops and now SOCOM
I've been having this issue for about a week now. No fix as of yet, but I too have followed all the suggested support steps. After attempting to log in and failing for an hour I'm just about ready to quit buying Sony products. If you're not going to support a product you sell then you might as well not sell it in the first place.
Its gotta be hacker related, cause regular internet is working fine. It's just weird that it's only affecting certain parts of the country. My brother in law in Raleigh, NC is on and playing fine, and I'm in Virginia and can't do jack squat!!! This sucks.....come one sony hire some smart people to block these fuckers. Is it seriously that hard to set up a few cisco firewalls and DMZ's and monitor that shit. step it up!!!
