Confrontation was released in 2008, which makes it five years old. That is a long time for a game to receive online multi-player support. Sony turned off the servers for SOCOM 2 recently, so I would not be surprised if Confrontation was next on the list. The developer of the game, Slant Six, hasn't worked for Sony for a couple of years, and their commitment to support the game servers for Confrontation has probably ended by now. Many online game modes are only supported for a year or two, so you already had a good run. I wouldn't waste my time with a lawsuit if I were you. It will go nowhere. Sony has provided way more support for this game than the purchasers were ever promised. At this point the game is running unattended with bare minimum support, at best; just like Modern Warfare 2. It may be time to move on to SOCOM 4, if you want an actively-maintained online experience.
