playstation malfunction

i got  a question whhat should i do ?

my ps3 slim doesnt want to turn on or off from the the wireless controller i got to turn it on or off  from the console

and then after i charged the controller it doesnt wanna work after i unplugged it from the usb cable

and the wireless doesnt work it freezes and i have to restart it once that happens

is this normal or how did this happend i dont know what to do about this

What wireless controller are we talking about exactly?  Is it a Sony DualShock 3, a Sony SixAxis, or something else?

Have you tried re-syncing the DS3 to see if that helps?

yeah but nothing happens i think its ps3 concole because sometimes it works but after i turned the console off and turn it on IT WONT WORK AGAIN

Do you have another DS3 or perhaps a friends DS3 to try, maybe it's the DS3 you have that is malfunctioning & not the actual unit?

im pretty sure its the unit because my brother has my other unit and the ds3 works preety good on that one
