today i been on home and a guy is sending me messages to me that says the sender is my name. is that what u call hacking and if so what can he do cause i have my credit card numbers on the account?
1) Change your password. Write it down. Make it so that you have to type it in in order to log onto the PSN.
2) Report the messages.
How is he sending you messages? PMs in Home? They can be reported.
Is he sending you messages via the XMB? They too can be reported.
Any messages that you can see, the Moderators can also see.
Call SCEA at 1-800-345-7669 for information on how to deal with people who use a similar name. The call is free.
And about that name, they cannot have the exact same PSN ID. The spelling is usually different. An O replaces a 0, upper case I replaces a lower case L.
In Home, such people can be reported for impersonating another user.
Is it possible the imposter is replacing the letter "O" in your name with the number "0"?
And like Joanna said, just go the message in your inbox, hit triangle, and select grief report. If its an imposter they will be the ones dealt with, not you. It also wouldn't hurt for you to call the number Conrad gave you and explain your situation.

the message is my name spelled exactly the same its like im sending myself the message
No one can have the exact PSN ID. Each is unique. We cannot report ourselves, so Moderation will know what's going on.
You're very welcome.
Report every message he sends you. But you also have the option to Block him if you wish.
