have you guys experienced the 80029654 error?

10 replies 1248 views Edited Oct 12, 2012

now, i'm asking this here 'cause i wanna know if you guys have experienced this, and if you guys know a solition to it,

the problem i'm having here is i can't freaking install the 'additional content' update for borderlands 2, which sucks 'cause i just bought the premium dlc thingy,

i tried downloading something else, so i bought journey, and that, with a file size that's bigger, worked,

so, have you guys experienced this?

if you have, what things did you guys do to solve it?

why is this relevant to psasbr? well, what if we can't install the dlcs that we bought?

yup, done that,

the main problem is because it's an update, not a content we get from the psn store...

I'm pretty sure getting an 80029654 error means the data is corrupted. Don't quote me, as I'm only thinking back in time, but you might have to delete your Borderlands 2 file and start over

Is your Borderlands 2 the digital version ? If so, you may need to delete both the patch and the game and redownload them. That's what I did with my digital version of Dead Space 2. Worked fine after.

the game data right? not the save files?

i'll give this a shot, i just gave my ps3 a quick clean, and i'm trying to see if the update will install this time...

Ah, then deleting the game data may be the solution.
