Would this work if I tried it?

5 replies 110 views Edited Aug 12, 2012

So, I've been researching on how to change my PSN name, because mine is kinda lame now.

<a href="http://us.playstation.com/playstation/psn/visit/profiles/hyperscope3"><img src="http://fp.profiles.us.playstation.com/playstation/psn/pid/hyperscope3.png" width="230" height="155" border="0" /></a><br/><a href="http://www.us.playstation.com/psn/signup">Get your Portable ID!</a>

I already understand that I cannot change my name without using a different email. Now, I did come across that you can use a flash drive to put all of my saves on for my games. Now, if that works, good. But would my MW3/MW2/BO levels be wiped out? Does it save on the disc or something?

Copy your saves to your new profile and you should be fine.

Some games have their save data protected, in other words it is impossible to save it elsewhere, but yes, your saved data, except that which is protected can be saved to your external HDD or USB drive for re-download.
