I have the same code on mine I called sony and my system is out of warrenty and they will fix it for $99.00. Then i aked what the error 80010519 was he stated it was a bd-rom error. i ordered a new cable and laser from ebay. ill let you know if it works.
BTW I am from eastern ohio.

Hey guys, I get that message on my system as well. It would start out with the 8001050F and then move onto the 80010519.
Has been happening intermittently since I moved to a slim after my 40gb passed away. Never received it on the fat version, but get it at least 4-5 times a week now.
I generally get it when my system boots with a grey screen asking me to set date and time. I've called Sony here in Australia and they are investigating the issue was they are not familiar with the error code.

I'm almost sure the error is caused by our PS3 date/time not being set correctly, but it cannot get the correct date/time from internet giving error "8001050F". I searched for that error and found that on 2010 there was a problem on PSN that caused PS3s could not get that information from internet (not sure about root cause). Although, it must be some similar issue now... I think we will need to wait until Sony guys solve their Server problems (and push for some compensation! =P)

So just an update. I tried what TrUe-_HeLLSHade suggested and unticked auto login. When I tried it the first time, I was still not having any luck. So I unplugged the power for 20mins and it worked straight away. I haven't had a problem over the weekend at all.
Still haven't heard back from Sony regarding the matter either though
