Updated firmware before cod Tuesday morning and ps3

It seemed to freeze during update and then tv wouldn't recognize ps3 with hdmi. Tired another cable and nothing. Tried av cable and nothing. Tried another tv. Tech support staid try and hold down button to get to save mood. Nothing. Then said mail in for 99 bucks. Said firmware can't cause issues. Looking at these post looks like I'm am not the only one to have an issue. I have model Czech-2501a
