Dear Support,On January 14 we reported to the Sony Playstation support in Sweden about the unauthorized transactions on the credit card that was registered in our Playstation account. We received an automatic reply and thereafter....NOTHING.On January 15 we sent the message again, now from the email account that was used to create the Playstation account. We received an automatic reply and thereafter....NOTHING.On January 24 we sent a reminder from the same account. Again an automatic reply and otherwise NOTHING.This email is sent from the same account. In total an amount 3834 SEK (approximately 600 USD) disappeared through 69 unauthorized transactions between May 28, 2012 and January 11, 2013.Each transaction is marked with Sony Ent Network with an amount between 40 SEK (around 6.20 USD) and 180 SEK (around 28 USD).In the account history there is no sign of these transactions and we have certainly not initiated these. After we discovered the problem we have blocked the credit card and reported the event to the Swedish police. It is obvious that our credit card has been used illegally. Sony is responsible for letting this happen and not providing the security that may be expected in this environment. This email is a last attempt to receive a reaction from Sony support and get the money returned. We are looking forward to a fast response and money transfer.
I am NOT a sony employee. However I do know that the support people will not see/answer this question here. Try calling them @ the phone number in this link for your best chance at help! http://us.playstation.com/support/contact_options/index.htm
If the charges were indeed unauthorized, then your bank will credit the money back to your account; provided that you advised them of the fraud as soon as you discovered it, and didn't waste time complaining to Sony, which is not responsible for credit card fraud. Sony is not going to send you a money transfer, or any other form of payment. If your bank decides to reverse the charges, then you will get your money back that way. If the charge-back was due to fraud, then Sony should not terminate your access to your PSN account; which is what it normally does when a wallet funding is reversed. By the way, this site is maintained by Sony Network Entertainment of America, which is only responsible for the USA and Canada. Sony Computer Entertainment Europe is a different unit of Sony, so even if customer support did read this forum, which they don't; they still could not do anything to help you.
