This morning (May 29, 2011) I logged onto the PlayStation Network just fine. Next, I tried to enter PlayStation Home, but it stated it wouldn't work due to error code X80710092. I figured that Sony was fixing Home or whatever, so I stuck the LittleBigPlanet2 disc into my PS3. Once I had control of my player on LBP2, it stated that I couldn't use LBP2's online servers because of the error code 80710092. Now I was wondering what was up. I logged off the PlayStation Network and then logged back in. But, this time I could not log in to due the error code 80710092. After discovering I was unable to log onto PSN, it gave me suggested actions. The first suggested action was to check the SCE website to see if my region's connection was strong (it was fine). Next was to turn off my router or modem and my system for a little while, then turn it back on and see if I can access PSN. I turned off my PS3 and my router for approximately 30 minutes, then turned them back on and it still did not work. The final action was to see if your Internet connection is strong (which it was). After all of this, I called Sony Technical Support, but to no avail as they state that there is too many people calling. Is anybody else experiencing this? Can somebody please tell me what I can do to get back on PSN? Help is greatly appreciated.
Thank you for your assistance,
I'm having problems too it game me 2 different errors, the first one i checked my router and the PS3 began to receive news and stuff so i figured it was fine but i couldn't log to PSN so my guess it's they are doing some maintenance on the servers but damn again, i guess we'll have to wait and see what comes next, my respect on sony got down alittle bit on this one but hey we get for what we pay and we pay nothing for PSN XD
Okay i get this problem alot and I have this code numerous times. It basicly means that the Networks gaming servers are down for the time being and you can't log in. if you keep getting this code for over 1-3 days check to see if you system is up to date, cause that will happen to cause it, too. hope this helps. but its true, Playstation Network is down at least 5 days every month so just be patient.
