Hi guys,

Just wanted to see if there's any reason my TD Visa Debit card isn't able to attach itself to my account?
Does PSN not allow Visa Debit cards?
It's enabled for all online purchases and works everywhere else as a Visa.

I'm having the exact same problem.. I emailed support for an answer and hopefully we'll get one soon. I'm pretty sure it's a problem on their end.

Yeah, I messaged support too. They said to make sure all the information was correct. :\
Yes, it's all correct, obviously. I want to know if they even accept TD Visa Debit cards or not. >__<
Just a robotic response. Aha.

Oh well, I guess they don't.. =[
When I tried adding it to my account on a computer (instead of my PS3) it asks me to input a valid credit card number.
So I'm guessing that PSN doesn't even recognize it as a credit card. :\
Sucks super bad.

Generally all Visa cards are accepted, TD Bank ones included,  just make sure that the detials you're putting into the system matches exactly that as it appears on your statement.

It's not a "Visa card" though.. it's my debit card, that can act as a visa, kinda.
I just wan't sure if it was supported or not.. because it only came out like.. 2 months ago.

Sorry, I meant to say Visa Debit Cards, apologies, yes Visa Debit cards are accepted.

Hmm, well I'm glad to hear that. Maybe it's because it's a brand new Canadian card?
I'm stumped. =[ It just tells me the card number is invalid. The other info is all correct. =[

I am having the same problem.  I have tried cards not from TD bank and still same problem.    I am thinking the are forcing you to get a PSN card.    They are losing money because i have purchases that i would like to make but can not do so.    This is a major problem

I am also having the same problem with my td visa debit card.
All my information is correct but i get this msg as well
"Please enter a valid credit card number"
Any help on how to fix this problem would be great.

I am having the same problem, except my visa is a standard RBC credit card; I haven't tried entering it on PC yet, but It constantly fails on the console, and it's not just this specific card; My family have all tried to use their Visas on my PS3 and the same response, and all of theirs work elsewhere. And all the information is valid of course. Wth, sony? Are you guys (sony) picky about Visa cards or something?
