Re: SCE?

Thats crazy, I did that DNS change for AT&T and that worked. I even called AT&T to have them fix it, yet they said its not on thier side. And then Sony says its not them. So whose to blame on this one????   I bet it was Xbox users fault lol.

Go to the playstation network sign in screen.  Click forgot password.  Create a new password.  Accept the new terms and contains.  Log back in.

Re: SCE?

I had the same issues as everyone else.  I rebooted my modem and my wireless device, and everything works....thought you all might want to know there is another option besides playing with your DNS settings.  Basically, just unplugged everything for 60 seconds, made sure it was up and running, then turned on the PS3.  When I sgned in, it took my to a new scree to authenticate....might be a network thing that needed your system to rebood.

Re: SCE?

I'm in Massachusetts and I'm having exactly the same problem, I did the DNS change but I'm still getting the same results. I even unplugged everything for the night but I stilll can't go online. I'm with Verizon and they told me that they haven't touched anything on their end. My computers are online without any issues. Does anyone know whats going on?

Re: SCE?

Apr 10, 2011

I'm in Northern Virginia and having a lot of dropped network connections. Using a PS3. I've been seeing it happen in the middle of a Black Ops Zombie game...everybody freezes and the conection errors out.  I have two network connections into my home and experiecning the same problem using either network connection to the PS3Network. it's real frustrating, when you get to high levels and the network connection craps out on you.

I'll take a WAG (Wild A$$ Guess) that these connection problems we are experiencing happen when  the PS3 Network Servers are overloaded....
