im in chicago and its been doin this to me for a couple days now, one minute it will work fine the next my download speed drops and i get signed out, i know my connection is fine so its gota be a problem on sonys end

Mines hasn't been working since early this morning, it was fine before that and now I have no idea what's going on. I think I'll contact tech support to see if maybe they've got an update on this issue. I need to play black ops...it's my virtual addiction :-/

I think the problem is with AT&T's DNS servers, something must be off on their end. Try manually setting the DNS server to 220.127.116.11 and 18.104.22.168 Those are Google's DNS numbers. Everything started working again after I did a connection test.
