So what u mean doesn't that control the dwnld speed or the upload speed & do I have 2 use it 4 online gaming if im not port forwarding that's what I heard you have 2 do for call of duty... So y should I turn it off??

No you do not need QOs for any online game it continually checks your internet quality wich in turn slows your speeds down.

 

In your router make sure upnp is enabled.

 

What is the exact maodel of the router? I'll look it up then provide the best settings for you.

 

Do you connect wired or wireless on the ps3?

UPNP-Universal Plug And Play.

 

This is a software built in to most router and into windows operating systems it allows discovery of other devices.

This has nothing to do with port forwarding.

 

Do you have an issue with speed because speed and bandwith are different things.

You don't control bandwith your internet provider does.
