Hi *ReBirthOfMac_HD,
You need to 'revise/ setup' your router settings again. Also, there could possibly be other factors such as:
a) Weather conditions,
b) ISP (Internet Service Provider) technical issues/ ugrades,
c) Outside interferences, etc.

That setting is a 'default' one. Visually, have you noticed any kind of improvement *(with the default setting)? If so, you can raise the setting in increments of 5MB (if you want but do not max. the speed - if you do, there'll be more frustrations onhand).

No, leave the setting at 10 <-default setting. Only if you wish, you can add an increment of 5MB everytime you set it (only if you still have the same issue). My apologies if I wasn't clear.

Well what kind of router?
Turn off all QOs functions you don't need it. In fact I don't know why they put that in router's when most if not all operating systems have it now by default.
