[ Edited ]
14 replies 417 views Edited Apr 17, 2013

**** tricked me into giving up my password and e-mail address and weeks later ,I get a call from Chase bank saying that someone tried to use my info to purchase items in CVS Pharmacy. In his comment portion on the friends list said R.I.P. Tae Hartford

Edit: removed blacklisting

Unless your e-mail and password for your account is the same as your Chase log-in, they can'y buy something at CVS. That makes no sense what so ever.

Edit out the username since it's blacklisting. It's agaisnt the forum rules.

But for now, change your password and e-mail for your PSN account, and the password to your e-mail and the recovery question if you have that set up. And change anything else that uses the same log in information.

p.s., Don't give out personal information. Wonder if you tried to GameShare, which can get you banned in the first place.

Hi pplayer2012,

We don't recommend that people name those suspected of hacking activity in forum threads here, but here are a couple of ways you can report your issue:

They probably were not directly related events.  Even if you have credit or debit card information in your account profile, no one else can use it for anything else, because PSN does not display the complete payment information, even if you are signed in. Either you used the same e-mail address and password for other accounts like Paypal, or you were equally careless on some other online system.  This has nothing to do with PSN, and there isn't much that Sony can do about it.  You are not permitted to share your account access or security information with anyone.  If you do, you are responsible for the consequences.
