RE6 DLC not working

I just bought all the extra maps for the mercenaries mode in Resident Evil 6. The content dowloads and installs, but when I start the game and go to mercenaries mode I only have the three maps that you start off with. I am connected to the internet, I tried restarting the console as well as deleting the map pack and downloading it again without any luck. This is my first time buying something from the playstation store and right now it feels like money down the drain.

The account is American, I bought the console here in the states and the game disk is a gift from a friend living in the Netherlands.

That's the problem. DLC must match the disc region.

Sorry but this is as ne1 has already said the reason you're having problems, ALL DLC must be from the same region as the original game, sorry but you wasted your money on the DLC.

 

You could contact Sony to request a refund but don't get your hopes up too high, the error was your own so Sony will probably say no, here's their number for you anyway, it's worth a try I suppose!
