Question about nationality

5 replies 172 views Edited Dec 1, 2013

Hi, PSN Community,

The question I've got is the following, I've recently moved to another country (From the US to France), isn't there a way that I can switch my nationality or the country that I am currently located? Because playing online games has seriously become a big problem to connect and also, I really don't feel like creating a new account with my new location, considering that I've spent money on this account and also got a decent ammount of trophies that I dont feel like getting them again.

Cheers, have a good day.

You can try changing country here https://account.sonyentertainmentnetwork.com/login.action

Click on Account then on the left click account details scroll down and edit Location.

@Toe_Tag_  - It is IMPOSSIBLE to change the country or region of a PSN Account, the only option is to create a new one.

I tried that, eventually, but as you can see on the screenshot, the country is locked and I can't find a way to change it.

I find it quite dumb but oh well, could at least track the IP or something?

Meh.

I agree, at least to an extent anyway, in some circumstances this feature should be available.

Sorry!
