Psn Card - An Error Occured

3 replies 266 views Edited Feb 6, 2013

So I recently bought a 50$ prepaid card for my PSN account. When I pressed "Redeem Code" and put the code, it asked me if I wanted to add 50$, after selecting yes, it loads for like 20-30 seconds and then says "An error occured". I have tried all methods of putting my code yet it still hasn't worked. I really need a solution for this, I don't want my 50$ to go to waste. If any sony staff here can email me so I can give them the details, please do. I need this ASAP, thanks.

Sign out of PSN. Try turning off your modem (and your router if you have one also). 30 seconds is fine. Turn everything back on and re-sign into your PSN account and enter your code again.

If it does it again, it might be the code itself. Since I don't really see what your screen is showing I can only say so much. Are you sure the clerk activated your PSN card?
