There are a lot of games showing in the "multiplayer online" category in the playstation store, that are not multiplayer.
This causes a lot of confusion and also is lying to customers to buy a game for features it doesn't have.
It's like trying to sell you a smartphone without internet.
Some examples are (at least at the time I'm writing this post):
Guacamelee, the Cave, Rayman origins and labyrinth legends (currently free for PS plus).
yeah same for the walking dead survival, the game information on the store show that ther's multiplayer, but there's NO multiplayer at all.
i bought the game bc i tought i would be able to play with friends or atleast 1 friends.
Are you confusing multiplayer with local co-op?

Multiplayer Online clearly stands for online Co-op.
Local co-op is only multiplayer, not multiplayer online as the playstation store calls this category, there is actually no "local multiplayer" category.
I just looked and there are indeed many games that should not be in that category. There are even PS2 classics which from what I've heard have disabled any online features. I just found a PS1 classic in there as well. It seems that any "multiplayer" game has been mistakenly identified by the filter as "online multiplayer."
