I downloaded P3 FES from the PSN store and whenever I try to start it my tv says no signal like my PS3 is off but the green light stays on. This only happens with that game, everything else works fine. I've tried deleting and redownloading, restoring corrupted files, and even messed around with my display settinngs to see if that was the issue but nothing has worked. I chatted with support but they didn't find a solution. I really don't want to get a refund, I want to play the game.
I know that there is a problem with that game saving the data. I'm not entirely sure if the game even got a patch yet. Perhaps, deleting saved data, and deleting the file via the game data utility? I'm only trying to troubleshoot with you. Let me know the outcome.
Or when it does that, you can try to just unpluging the HDMI cable from the back of your PS3 and pluging it back in.
I've picked up the same game, though it hasn't been started just yet. Could this have something to do with the TV's settings? When my own HDTV says "No Signal" it usually has something to do with the input, doesn't it? If you look at your TV's connections, whether it be AV1, AV2, HDMI, or whatever, maybe that will have a different effect? Maybe even switch your PlayStation 3 to the HDMI source could turn things around? I'm not sure what the cause could be, but that's just one idea to go on.
Before I do this might the problem come from the PS2 upscaler setting? Also If I restore my PS3 it will delete all my game data but I'll still be able to redownload the game as long as I have my PSN ID?
I've tried messing with the settings and even switching tvs a few times. hasn't fixed it though.
Restoring your Default settings will not delete any saved game data, game data utility, music, pictures. All that will be fine. It will give a list of functions it will set to Default. I think that may help you.
