PSN account showing different country

5 replies 175 views Edited Jan 9, 2014

I created my PSN account in my PS3, setting the US as my country.

However, now that I've switched to my PS4, for some reason the country has changed to Spain, which messes up with the audio in some games like FIFA.

What can I do?

Thanks.

Hello and welcome to the Playstation Forums. We aren't Sony employees but we'll do our best to assist you. Don't just disappear when your issue is solved. Someone may need your help some day or maybe you'd just like to socialize in our Off Topic or Home forums.

You're obviously not on the same account. The Country can not be changed.

That's what's odd, because I'm positive that it's the same account. The store is still set up as the US store, and it's still the one that has my PS Plus subscription.

I've noticed this problem while playing FIFA, because when I finish a skill game, my score is under the Spanish flag, and again, it messes with the audio.

Then it's still your US account but you chose a different Country in the game. PSN account regions can't be changed.

I know it can't be changed, that's why I think it might have been an internal error with the account, because the games I've played have never asked for my country.

Perhaps your PS4 system locale is set incorrectly. Try going into Settings > Language then make sure your set on English (United States).
