When I try to add my debit card to my billing information I keep getting an error claiing my card informatio was invalid, though when I check my transations I see a $1 pending charge from Playstation. Why is this happening?

I'm also having the same problem. I don't see how they can charge a dollar every attempt if it's invalid information. I hope this gets dealt with very soon.

The $1.00 charge is Sony/the system checking that the card is valid, has not been reported stolen & has avaiable funds etc, it's basically a security check, the $1.00 charge will be returned to you in a few days.

This happening to myself az well. Can't add from 4 different debit cards , i use them all the time with this account . Now they don't work . i CAN use any of the 4 on any other Sub account . Just not main .. My Paypal oddly will go right though .. But that's not for me to use for this cuz it takes 3 days to send $ to paypal from my bank , very inconvenient .. PSN CARDs soldout local always an gamestop here stopped printing them at my local stores i did call 1800345SONY , i was sent here , not sure why , But mayB the forums did it , LOL anyways ,,, ITs not just you OP , , Please SONY PLEASE SONY LET US SPEND!!!!!!!! ![]()

Typically this is due to the address on your PSN account not matching the address associated with your debit card. Confirm that link, and then call Customer Services for next steps if that doesn't resolve the issue.
