PlayStation®Network Support

I just updated to 4.2.1 on my slim ps3 and installed the new store. The problem is, after i log into the store, I can still see all the conttent and the menus but the controller does not work (as in I press buttons and nothing happens). The only thing I can do is press the playstation button to quit the store. The controller works for games and the main menu. I am on wifi connection.

I HAVE THE EXACT SAME PROBLEM  IVE REBOOTED IT AND NOTHING WORKS.....  Its been like this for at least 2 days....

ok i just got it to work wether by luck or what idk....but the first button i pressed was triangle for the menu and everything started responding

i have been having the same problem recently, i have tried everything, pushing buttons don't work moving the analog sticks don't work.  the only button that works is the ps button. **bleep** is wrong with the ps store

im having that problem now . i updated my console and nothing seems to work.   I goint to try to reboot it maybe.
