PS Vita Version 2.0 Content Manager Assistant wireless connection FAIL

4 replies 852 views Edited Nov 21, 2012

Hello, i got the update for the ps vita 2.0 yesterday and it said i was allowed to make a wireless connection with my ps vita on the same local connection, so my vita and my PC are both connected and i try to register both of the devices to each other but they do not pop up and yes i did check "Connect to PS Vita System Using Wi-Fi", i did click OK and i also tried to restart the program along with my computer but to no avail. Anyone have any ideas on how this can work besides firewall checks?

Never-mind, i used a hotspot and connected under Local Area Connection and it somehow popped up and worked. Thanks anyways to those who were going to help.

I'm having the EXACT same problem as the first post. How do I connect to a "hotspot" and connect under "Local Area Connection"? I just want to stream from my pc to my vita. :/

1) Make sure the Vita and PC are connected to the same wireless network.
2) On the PC: Right-click CMA's icon and choose settings
3) Go to the Wi-Fi settings tab and enable Connect via WiFi
4) On the Vita: Launch Connection Manager. Choose Connect to PC.
5) You will be prompted about wireless access and asked to match the numbers to enable the connection.

You're all set for WiFI syncing.
