PAL game using NTSC DLC?

I recently bought a game from europe and it has DLC codes that i know i won't be able to use on my system as it's a NTSC fomat,my question is will i be able to buy and download the DLC's from the NA PSN Store and use them even though it's a PAL region game? or i'm i **bleep** out of luck?

PS3 games are all region-free, however if a game is purchased in the UK then so must the DLC, if a game was purchased in the USA, again so must be th DLC.

Not all games are region free any more. The vast majority still are but there's a few that are region locked now. Other than that Brit is 100% accurate as usual. Smiley Wink
