Never been able to log my ps3 onto PSN w/o it timing out.

4 replies 218 views Edited Apr 19, 2013

I've had my ps3 for 2 years now but it was not until January that i made a PSN profile and since then Ive only been able to successfully log on with my PC and never my consul. Reset my router/dsl modem, restored defaults on my consul and formatted the hdd but still times out when logging on.  Ethernet or wifi makes no difference.

Any solutions to this?

Clearly either your router or your ISP is blocking some of the ports that PSN needs to function.  It doesn't matter that you can sign in on your PC.  The PC uses different network protocols to access PSN.  What type of Internet access are you using?
