I have the same problem and have been on the phone with Sony, my ISP, and directTV multiple times.... Even though I have a perfect connection for all other ps3 video streaming functions, they say I must "go to a friends house" with the system and blame my internet connection... I will do everything I can next week to get a refund on the service. -let me know if you find a solution to this "video is not available issue"

It is NOT a problem with the end user's connection, everyone. If you are on wireless you may experience degraded video quality, but regardless, the problems with streaming are 100% on Sony's end. They don't seem to have the bandwidth to deliver a high quality stream to the large number of people trying to access it.
Get your refund. It's the only way they will be forced to improve their service.

I can't get any games to work either. Just stops...when it returns you're at a commercial or halftime. Very ugly service. I bought in the second half of last year and it worked fine so I know it's not my set up. Also the commercials rearly have problems so I know how to buy Cialis.

For the question on my full refund- I emailed support on Tuesday. Was notified that I would get a $299.95 refund on Wednesday. The credit appeared on my Amex statement on Friday. 4 business days in total.
